The whole random movie writing thing I did once (and could probably do again if I had time) was a concept but it got very lonely, so I thought if I could make it yammering with someone could make it fun.
Then I spent no time looking for a someone to yammer with.
It's so weird how people don't understand that sometimes people do things because of their beliefs and not because someone told them to.
Me, at odd points in the day:
Someone should do a podcast with me because I'm interesting and have a not unpleasant voice!
"You would have to make an effort to make this happen."
But... But...
One thing about Joe Wright is that he's never boring. Sometimes he's inspired! Sometimes he's very stupid! But he's never BORING.
Though it is interesting that it's a Microsoft product that doesn't make any mention of Copilot.
An aside, but why do these slide graphics look like they're from 2004?
The flares, the oddly composited Army Guy™, the layout, the fonts...
"Haha, he's easy to manipulate and he will do what we want!"

Many cases.
The problem with a "useful idiot" is that they're still an idiot, so they're a lot less easy to control than you actually think.
Anyway this feels relevant for the current state of world politics.
A couple of very specific Catholic things from my youth that movies rarely include:
A choir that can't sing - Midnight Mass did this and I went "oh he KNOWS" when it happened.
Weird felt banners that look like they were made by children.
It's also missing the most Catholic thing of all - a choir which is incapable of singing on key.
I mean there is probably a Catholic choir that can sing. I haven't heard them but they must exist.
(Midnight Mass captured this perfectly and made me go "oh this guy KNOWS the Catholic church.")
Josh O'Connor also likely wouldn't have the parish in the end - they're sending him off somewhere he's not associated with the scandal, even if he didn't do anything wrong.
Priests also don't have much say in which parish they get - you definitely can't inherit a parish. They're pretty heavily supervised - you're not getting away with deviating from standard mass and decor, which he does.
It's just all organizationally impossible.
Basically there's no way that Josh Brolin would have that parish.
The church's power is pretty concentrated and they are obsessed with avoiding scandal. So the moment they had a whiff of impropriety he would have been transferred faster than you can say "allegations."

Oh honey I don't think so.
Oh man if you think that's sloppy, try being a recovering Catholic and watching Wake Up Dead Man.
(Nothing about the premise works if you know how Catholicism does.)
Part of me is going "this is very silly" and another part is going "it's absolutely vital for currently unclear reasons."
Nah because I wouldn't want to fit in with them.
My friends are way cooler.
I just remembered I played Final Fantasy: Type 0 fairly recently and this will add it to the list because I don't want to play it again.

Hello, I am at work. The wall behind my desk has a very "real photo background for actual photos" quality.
The first couple of episodes are the worst couple of episodes. Once it embraces being an ensemble show then it becomes great - and that starts in Episode 3.
But I'm not dragging you in front of the TV or anything. It's just good to know if you get curious later.
There's a real "which is least unsafe, driving or walking" feeling going on.
I went with walking just because at that fall is much slower.

I am both extremely good and extremely bad at keeping secrets.

The only good thing at McDonalds is the fries and yet also the things that happen in the bathroom later are truly terrifying.

I think hydrogen had potential... 20 years ago? Maybe more? There was a point where battery tech was pretty poor so other options were pretty appealing.
But right now? No, we've bypassed it.
