Emergency Preparedness Week is a national awareness campaign that reminds and encourages Canadians to take simple steps to become better prepared for emergencies.
This year’s theme is “In it together,” that emphasizes the importance of connection, cooperation, and collective readiness.
Starting June 17, blue & green carts will move to a bi-weekly collection schedule.
Also beginning June 17, the landfill will remain open until 8 pm on Tuesdays & Thursdays.
