Daniel Lurie’s San Francisco body count just keeps going up. Homicides, stabbings, fatal car crashes… all while rents going through the roof, grocery stores closing, tech oligarchs running sexual assault parties, and more. SF deserves better & giving Lurie absolute control isn’t the answer.

If you’ve spent any amount of decades in SF you know that enforcement of anything is incredibly weak. It’s a city of hustlers. And if you don’t know that, you might be getting hustled. But the politicians pass all of the laws for the appearance of being progressive. God I love & hate you SF.

I met a trans man in a bar in Seattle and he was so enthusiastic about showing me his body hair, his top surgery, and photos of himself before he transitioned. At one point, he wanted to arm wrestle me. I was happy for him, but worried a bit he felt some need to show how manly he was.

Democrats should spend more time telling voters on the right that they will have to accept some amount of leftist policies in order to get out of the nightmare republicans keep creating. Instead they’re telling the left the morals they must give up to stop full fascism. They’re losers, not leaders.
I’ve said before that I believe “big tent” is a Democratic lie. Wealth & power have a harder time wrangling The Many and The Diverse. So it’s better that those people sit out & to focus on what remains. It’s why they are willingly shifting rightward. It’s the easier path. Money over morals.
