That is true. I am mostly me, but I have the soul of a dragon and that dragon was, once, June. So I have... Bits of him in me. I was him, though not anymore.

"I won't." Kieran replied, rather absolute in his answer. "Because I don't want you to."

Those endearments were turning Kieran's insides to jelly. His fingers twist a little in Red's shirt as his head tips to the side all too willingly. "Keep going. Please." He can't help requesting, voice soft and perhaps a little breathless.

A pleased sound came from Kieran then, absorbed in the kiss and closeness. It feels nice and warm, his heart fluttering. He's still uncertain in it, but he's a fast learner.

Kieran pressed into the kiss with a warm sigh, melting into it easily as he inched himself closer to the other man. One of his hands went from Red's shirt to his hair, all to happy fall over the edge into wherever this led if it meant he was there too.

Trans people are wonderful delights and closer to how creation is intended to be. To change concept and purpose when it does not fit or causes pain to something better is the way of life.

"I wouldn't have said so if I wasn't sure." Kieran said with a little smile, fingers grasping the edges of Red's shirt lightly.

"Well, I'm not running you off for that. Actually... I rather wish you would kiss me instead."

Kieran hesitated a moment before he was stepping closer, into Red's space. He was a little hesitant about it, but he means what he says. "And if I.. liked what you just did? What then?"

"It's fine." Kieran rushes out to say, a little breathless all of a sudden with a warmth in his gut. His eyes end up flickering from Red's own to his mouth instead and it's a little to obvious where his thoughts end up going. "I.. didn't hate it."

Kieran watched for a moment as his brows drew together. "Are you claiming that as a name, then? Perseverance? Given that's not --- There are spirits of that, to be sure, but it isn't you. Not the same... though could strive to be different."

There's a sharp hitch in Kieran's breath at that, eyes snapping to Red's lips around his finger and his cheeks go pink. The sound that next comes out of his throat, filled with a heat he wasn't aware he was capable of, startles even himself. "Red ---"

I heard certain individuals have taken truth serums. Hopefully it helps rather than makes things worse.

Kieran's cheeks heat at that as he swallows. He's not even completely sure what Red is asking for and /yet/ ---- "Yes. Whatever you want."

Honestly maybe this truth business will be a good thing? One can hope.

"I can bandage it. It will heal soon enough." Kieran watched Red, reaching out his other hand to lightly touch his arm. The blood was starting to well in the cut, slipping down Kieran's finger and into his palm.

Kieran watched the other, cheeks a little warm at the physical contact, but not bothered. He can vaguely hear Hunger, but not what is being said. It's harder when the target is specifically, solely focused on Red. "It's not that bad...?"

That doesn't hold much weight when I have no idea if you even liked your mother. I could swear on my father's grave, but I don't know him so it wouldn't mean anything.

That makes sense. It seems rather tiring.

"It's not that bad, don't worry." Kieran reassures first, pulling the rag from his finger to inspect it better. It's still bleeding, though thankfully not fast enough to indicate having cut somewhere awful. "I was working on something and ended up fumbling a little, it happens."
