Yes - the Republican Party was initially founded to combat slavery. It was originally a progressive party had obviously morphed into a conservative party by the time of the Great Depression. The Democratic Party has had progressives, moderates, and conservatives throughout most of its existence.

CBS obtained video of the DHS killing of an unarmed man in Texas that DHS concealed for nearly a year, which clearly contradicts claims that he violently rammed anyone. He is shot with his brake lights on, car not moving or barely moving. Another DHS crime.

Everyone saw this clearly when Russia invaded Ukraine and said, this is a criminal act. This shit is not better, it is the same thing.
Why is the US attacking Venezuela, kidnapping its head of state? Why is it trying to starve the people of Cuba, what is it playing at in Ecuador, why is it enabling a genocide in the Gaza Strip? Why is its president trying to extort the world? Because it is governed by criminals.
Consider: why is America, a country in North America, attacking Iran on the other side of the world? What right does the US have to bomb and attempt to destroy any country, anywhere on Earth? It has no right to do so. It’s doing it because it is governed by criminals.
So raiding Quaker Meeting Houses and arresting pacifists is a suitable use of police time, but when a bunch of gammon-faced racists routinely/constantly harass refugees in hotels, the authorities turn a blind eye.
