It’s important to call them out when the evidence is ready to hand.

Starmer's judgement is in question after appointing Mandelson & he is on the ropes. Badenoch & Farage's judgement are in tatters after their U-turn on UK involvement in Trump's Iran War. All three are diminished & in an ideal world all three would go: Starmer, Badenoch & Farage.

The Greens must raise this issue in HR.
BBC Scotland are ignoring this story but BBC Wales are headlining it. This is a huge story & an opportunity to query BBC Scotland’s objectivity ahead of the HR election.

The best people to make decisions for Scotland are the people who live here, not politicians in London.

But Labour continue to show that they're only too happy to use Tory legislation to bypass and undermine Scottish democracy.

It's a mistake, I think, to focus on the merits or otherwise of individual members of the House of Lords. All selection systems can produce bad choices. The better objections to the Lords selection system are two fold: 1. power to choose peers is now concentrated in the hands of just one person 1/2

How democratic is the UK? The UK has a crisis of democracy

A glimpse of UK democracy

The Public Authorities (Fraud, Error and Recovery) Act 2025 empowers the state to 24/7 snoop on bank accounts of benefit recipients.

The poor, old, sick have no financial privacy.

The same does not apply to enablers of tax abuse schemes.

We are all equal, aren't we?

This is probably the biggest problem the UK and particularly Scotland has and it's why I believe that reforming the financial sector should be the first priority of an independent Scotland and something RUK needs to tackle as well.......

This is true when it comes to independence.

Correct, sadly.

IMO GB blotted his copybook & legacy big style over his intervention with the 2014 indyref.
He over-reached with the β€œVow” & β€œnear federal” promise which he was powerless to deliver; didn’t stop the media amplifying the myth.
Never again.

Yes, the American "kinetic operation" on Iran is EXACTLY what it looks like.

Starmer’s autocratic Labour Regime. The views of Scots don’t matter a damn & not one Labour MP supposedly representing Scots has questioned this policy to undermine the elected Scottish Parliament.

Good on them for doing so.
I only want the BBC in Scotland (& Wales) to report the news fairly.
Unfortunately, in Scotland, since before 2014, the BBC have been very partial in their support for the union, mainly through the omission of stories, pushing SNPbad & opposition given an easy ride.

UKGov later introduced the Internal Market Act which meant SGov’s solution to Brexit was superseded by the IMA & a new HR bill had to be passed to take account of this.
WM always in control.

Good information memes.
So much has happened since 2014 that it’s easy to forget how HR has been badly affected by WM decisions.
One thing that would be good to include;

SG introduced β€œUK Withdrawal from the European Union (Legal Continuity) (Scotland) Bill 2018” but it didn’t gain royal assent.

It must have been posted recently as I didn’t spot it earlier.
Interesting to note that ferry repairs are more important than a leaked memo attacking devolution.
BBC Scotland is not fit for purpose & does not reflect my views (& probably 50% of the electorate in Scotland).

So grateful to Keir Starmer and his leaked memo for justifying the entire premise for my book on the week it's released.

The SNP must raise this issue in HR.
BBC Scotland are ignoring this story but BBC Wales are headlining it. This is a huge story & an opportunity to query BBC Scotland’s objectivity ahead of the HR election.
