About references, not really, this pose was based on one reference alone with no major changes to it, except the difference in muscles, but usually I start with one pose from the reference and then try to draw the same pose from the different angle. Here is an example:

Words cannot describe how much I appreciate everything that you’ve said😭😭😭 Thank you! In fact this pose was much easier than what I used to do, usually I go with some hard perspective poses that needs a lot of sketches and tries so it would look good and this pose went as relaxed as it looks XD
