A treasured pub, a committed community, and the power of social investment Tees Valley Community Asset Preservation Trust (TVCAPT) was established 10 years ago in response to local government funding cuts, with its initial focus on protecting community centres and village halls. As these buildings were previously subsidised by local authorities, they were now at risk of closure. The Trust was initially set up as an advice service to support organisations to diversify and commercialise their buildings.
