If Carney wants to transform the economy, he needs to fix the housing crisis Whether it’s attracting investment, ensuring labour mobility, or improving productivity, housing is what makes economic growth and transformation possible.

Housing is essential national infrastructure and the foundation of a strong economy

all i want is to one day own a modest sized home in a walkable neighborhood and raise money for shelter animals. wear an outfit i like, walk to the grocery store, buy some nectarines, feed cats, and live in peace. just don't understand why achieving this is so hard

Wrapped a whirlwind trip to Ottawa with a very positive meeting with housing minister @gregorrobertson.bsky.social

I love this gov’ts sense of urgency on housing. We haven’t heard much from the gov’t on homelessness but it’s clear that sense of urgency also applies to homelessness for Robertson.

Brilliant and exactly right. Corey does a great job here pointing out the stupidity of Alberta independence talk.

Danielle Smith is stoking a dangerous, ignorant and harmful sovereignty debate for no other reason than to protect herself from members of her own coalition

Confederation is like a family. Ultimatums, threats and escape plans are not a way to make a family work.

Premier Smith should ask herself what her intentions are here. Is she comfortable with where this might lead?

Are we, as Albertans?

Let’s be constructive. Canada is worth it.

The Nation That Trump Could Never Break Canada didn’t just resist, they reminded the rest of us how to endure

β€œβ€¦this morning, from a war zone half a world away, I was reading about your election. And for the first time in days, I exhaled.

A small, almost invisible breath. Relief.

And then came gratitude…

You didn’t just choose kindness or experience…

You chose not to flirt with fascism.”

This is a great video for an essential discussion - WE HAVE TO - find a way to tackle development charges if we're going to create housing affordability. If we tax housing like we tax cigarettes we'll get the same result.
