I'm developing mechanics for an RPG using the setting of my book. Last night I finished up the culture docs for the Dwarves and Halflings
Halflings in my setting were a seafaring race that built their capital city on a floating barge. While Dwarves carved homes into mountain peaks.

New Alterran lore drop: The Riftlands are a dangerous hell scape filled with a multitude of monsters, demons, spirits, and other general unpleasantness. One such creature are the Inkeaters. Demons born of unfulfilled creative ambition that seek to destroy any form of artistic expression.

He started the series as a villain, a stereotype of a brutish dumb jock. But the reveal that he was only working with the evil cult because he was blindly in love with his best friend started an amazing journey of redemption, growth, and self actualization. Also gay orc. 10/10.
