I identify so strongly with this - it’s the absolute worst. Even though I placed the order, I’m furious about it and am practically clawing at the door to be allowed out. I’m kinda relieved I’m not the only one!

The tricky part about Seasonal Affective Disorder and using a SAD lamp is that I have to get up a little bit earlier and be a little bit more motivated at exactly the time of year I feel the worst.

I had such a lovely evening listening to @adamjfarrer.bsky.social talking about his book “Broken biscuits & other male failures”. I was very moved by everything he said and found him deeply engaging, thoughtful, funny and charming.

I recently read “uncommon people” following a recommendation from @hannahfearn.bsky.social and she was totally right - it’s fantastic. Then this very astute take from Dorian capped it all off. I was thrown right back to mid-90s britpop and the chaos of music but most of all, the FUN of it all.

Oooooh, I might be too late but I reckon the white shirt works best. They’re both good but personally, I’d go with the white/cream shirt.

Oh god - I was in pieces! It’s true to life and not saccharine: that’s why it’s so good. But I agree. Stuart needs some true happiness and love in his life.

I’m so pleased about this - it was an absolute joy to watch. Beautifully written and acted and I swung between roaring with laughter and quietly sobbing within minutes. Can’t wait to see what they do with the characters!

A few weeks ago, @pifflevalve.bsky.social suggested sowing seeds from a pepper.

I popped some onto some damp kitchen roll and put them near the radiator to stay warm.

They germinated so I planted them, hoping for maybe one to sprout.

Now I have at least five tiny baby pepper plants!
