Just another glaring sign that our society has no interest in maintenance - only building new.

Yeah, but I don’t want to pay for the expensive new land that “new” areas need… but I also want them to pay for the similarly expensive upkeep of old schools in my area through taxes. It’s selfishness the whole way down.
