I grew up in Virginia where dogwoods are like weeds 😎 I miss them and lilacs whenever I’m up north in spring. if you find a variety that works here let me know!

not sure what year that was but I spent time there as a rebellious young rock n roller in the 80’s and anything that wasn’t nailed down got stolen and our beat up van got covered in tags. took turns sleeping in the van so no gear or the vehicle would walk away. also egg creams at Gem Spa 😎

personally I’d take down every water oak I see, my neighbor planted one that is now overhanging my house and shed and refuses to trim it. I’m about to pay to have every piece that’s over my property removed and I hate to butcher a tree but next hurricane it may well take out my house.

this is important to remember. and too many parents pushing for concentration in one sport with all kinds of private coaching at an absurdly early age. all kids of any gender should have access to decent coaching and facilities in every sport they are interested in.

Philly museum of art has some excellent pieces. I stayed with a friend in King of Prussia after Katrina and that was the highlight for me.
