We’ll have to see. I’m sort of glad I didn’t get a job in academia the further I get away from it. But one of the biggest drawbacks is not having time and resources for research and working on a manuscript. But it would be nice to actually finish the damn thing one day 😅

I expect Migration and the Origins of American Citizenship to be a much needed addition to the of citizenship studies during this period. When you’ve been in it you realize it’s been surprisingly stagnant until recently. This will definitely be required reading going forward.

I seriously cannot wait to find time to read this book.

Anna’s research has been looking amazing for years. Considering I never have time to actually do any real research these days on my own work, it’s going to be great to read something from a scholar with similar research interests.
