You know, I’ll never understand fans of sports team who wrap their whole personality up in that fandom. Like the guy from Philly who has now basically upended his life by going viral. It’s a game, dude. It’s not that important.

I have mine attached. It’s how I pay the poop guy. And that’s not a guy who is made of poop. It’s a guy I pay to pick up dog poop from my yard since I have more money than energy.

My only issue with Venmo is you can see transactions from/to people in your friend list. Not the amounts but the date, recipient/sender, and stated reason.

Other than that it’s super easy to use.

But in true republican fashion, they followed that up with someone worse.

So at the site formerly known as Twitter you “tweeted “. At X you…uh…go somewhere else. At Threads you sign up then never open it again. At Bluesky you…”skeet”? And “re-skeet”? Have we forgotten early 2000’s rap or is that specifically the point?

They are very wise. Toad is great!

No idea who that is. Are they tied to Tiad in some way? Not trying to be rude, just love Toad and any ancillary people are great!

Saw my first concert in, like, forever because fuck Ticketmaster. But let me tell you, if you like peak 90’s music, you can’t go wrong going to Toad the Wet Sprocket. One of my favorite bands of all time.

I used to be a HUGE fan. I always wished things had gone better but there are only so many times you can get in your own way.

I haven’t figured out yet what I want my Bluesky account to be. Should I post funny stuff and keep it light? Should I be all serious and talk about my life & thirty year marriage? A new platform means I can reinvent myself. But I’ll probably just continue to be the same old dork I’ve always been.

My wife and I today went to a small British bakery/cafe, sat for a few hours, and had tea & tarts. There was nothing fast about our food and it was amazing.

Man. One of my all time favorite Red Meat comics in the wild. Nobody else I’ve ever showed this to thought it was funny and here I find another twisted, kindred soul.
