Bloomberg article from May 2023 has a quote from IBM CEO Arvind Krishna that they think 7,800 jobs could be replaced by AI & automation. Today's WSJ reports that IBM has used AI to "replace the work of a couple hundred human resources workers". But it also hired a lot more programmers and salespeople.
So, about those AI-driven layoffs at IBM...
