Educational disrupter - Science and AI Believe we should be teaching our young people critical and evidence based thinking to combat misinformation and peddlers of simple solutions to complex problems. Online - https://atkinedustem.mykajabi.com/
It was brilliant!
Really interesting article which outlines why basic AI can often lead to poor results particularly in marking scripts - and a possible solution open.substack.com/pub/jeremier...
Have created an online course on using STEM to combat brain rot from digital screen addiction in young people. Itβs currently free for limited numbers if interested see shorturl.at/LJJts
I live in West Wales (Uk) and we have woodcocks locally now - do they have the same patterns of behaviour?
Thank you :)
physicspartners.com/event/numera... will this do ? Or spark.iop.org/sites/defaul... I co wrote this
Under power lines you see a massive surge with this app - If power lines vary in their output does that mess birds up ? And what about wind turbines they must have variable magnetic fields ?
I didnβt know you can make a silent 999 call in the uk by pressing 55 after the call - Please let any vulnerable people usually domestic violence ) know www.met.police.uk/contact/how-...
Love this thanks - there os a really cool app called phyphox that uses sensors in your phone to measure different things - one is a magnetic sensor - this gives an idea of the level of sensitivity of birds
Hi Physgal - I work for the charity Physics partners teaching teachers how to teach physics better - please add me
Truth is not dying it is being killed
Brilliant - but This is the world be live in and itβs going to get worse !
Looks great!
Old oak tree with twisted branches in autumn woodland of ancient oaks
A single 400-year-old ancient oak produces 234,000 litres of oxygen a year while soaking up carbon dioxide, and can support more than 2,000 species of bird, insect, fungus, and lichen. Nature is amazing - we need more of it, not less. Please repost if you agree π³
The truth is not dying it is being killed - this is a scary future

Iβm mainly after serious connections but here is a picture of my evil looking cat (savannah f3) great for teaching genetic crosses - heβs infertile
I am a physics educator so every lesson is about trying to conquer beliefs with rationality and evidence and it seldom works!
Looking for Science and physics people to connect with - Help please !
