Before it hit the ground, it was probably a huge ball of fire. I just can't think of a worse way to go. I feel so very sorry for these families losing loved ones because of that immoral ass in the WH and his lapdog.
It was probably doing a mid-air refueling operation with the other plane and there was a misshap.
Either the planes hit and the KC lost control or the fuel vapors sparked and ignited the KC's tanks or they hit causing the KC's fuel to ignite.
One report I read said there were 2 planes. The one landed safely but the KC went down.
All guesses by me, but I used to do crash recovery with other Air Force agencies when I was in the military.
The KC is like a flying gas station for the Air Force.
