I was in the office yesterday at an NHS integrated care board when staff heard about planned 50% cuts. This follows 30% cuts last year. Staff are stunned and a few tears.

I have spent almost 40 years working in the NHS. I agree no more restructuring. We need more preventative and early intervention. Invest in housing, social care and reduce poverty. Help people to remain healthy.

Agreed Ekeberg sculpture park is wonderful. Some very thought provoking art.

Visit the Munch Museum walk up to the roof of the opera building and take a boat trip round the Fjord. The Nobel peace museum is small but very interesting. Then a trip to Holmenkollbakken ski jump and museum. Great view.
Amundsen Bryggeri & Spiseri is a chilled place for beer and a burger.

Thank you. It is lovely working with an organisation that values the contribution of staff. Sadly too few take that approach.

I started back to work 2 weeks ago working part time. Retired in March, got bored now part time with the same organisation. Enjoying the intellectual stimulation, no staff management and being able to concentrate on one detailed piece of work. And time for hobbies/ jogging etc.

I had friends over last week and realised that when being offered a cuppa, a brief, precise, response is required.

Take a deep breath. Look at your week, you at burning the candle at both ends. Working full time and sketching almost full time. Is this sustainable? What can you reduce?

I like a challenge. Finished making a corset for the local theatre yesterday, today sat and passed my project management exam and tomorrow…..start writing up a service review for work. My family think I’m crazy. They may be right.
