Just some candle stick holders from last week. Glazing the next round this afternoon.
Thank you for sharing! I will check this out
Now that we are closing in at the point in the plot where the Daily Prophet isn’t reliable… where do we find a copies of the Quibbler?
But truly, what sources are people still finding trustworthy and thorough?

It’s so hard to hold this permission for ourselves. Creative work is beautiful and sincere because it is full of self-doubt. Right now it’s so important to hold that permission for one an other, to hold one an other up against these waves of information so determined to beat us down.
Without their reflections there is only darkness. Times like these are the times when creative work is most important. Keep writing, keep painting. Keep protesting and raging. Keep making frivolous shit that gave you a small joyous meditation in its crafting.
When my peers began discussing their trepidation in continuing their work in these times… it becomes so clear to me, how much their work breathes life into our current cultural climate. They are writing poems that witness our pain, documenting the Anthropocene with pigment, carving hope into clay.
I believe when art is practiced in a vulnerable way.. there is a very overwhelming feeling of uncertainty. “Who am I, to get to do this work?” We have been trained to see creativity as an extra curricular, a bonus activity. We only get to pursue it when all other homework is done. When things are ok
Something that came up for us, is how difficult the word “prolific” is to visualize, recite, or write over and over again.. in a time when so many just simply want “enough”
We are witnessing the decline of our nation at the hands of a few men who are consumed by greed.
I had my first meeting with a new Artist’s Way group last week. The conversation was expansive and resonate. We discussed reactions we felt to the exercise of writing “I ‘name’ am a brilliant and prolific ‘creative practice’ -“ multiple times.

I love the idea that there is a special window of opportunity right now to make this platform whatever we want…
As I consider how I want to show up in a new space I am confronted with the identity crisis my work has endured the past couple years, exasperated greatly by motherhood. I know I no longer identify as a potter, but to operate without a specific classification brings up a lot of contradicting feeling
I want to learn how to do this!
That’s so real 😂
I am having so much fun seeing a significant amount of Instagram artist-friends opening accounts on this app!!
I know most of us don’t have the privilege to leave meta completely at this time. But it feels really good to see the vicegrip of big data selling machines start to fissure a little
I have been waiting for this book to be featured since this podcasts’ inception. I listened to it so many times in my early 20s
I was only disappointed that the episode wasn’t longer 😂
photo of a bodysuit filled with garbage and a taped portrait of Elon Musk hangs upside down on the gate near piazzale Loreto in Milan, Italy. Photo from Ansa Italia 2025
Today in Milan, a student activist group hung a trash-filled effigy of Musk upside down on a gate outside of piazzale Loreto, where Mussolini's body was displayed in 1945.
They left the message: "C'è sempre posto a piazzale Loreto, Elon" (There's always room in piazzale Loreto, Elon)
I feel like a boomer on Facebook everytime I open this app 😅 but here’s a picture of what’s on my workbench today
