Testing it out definitely makes sense :) I will add, though, that playing as a duet (one Chronicler, one Narrator) is basically my favourite way to play Mappa!
It really is just money in the pocket for indies; so many folks *want the thing*, they just haven't heard of it, in my experience.
In Reddit in particular, self-promotion is heavily discouraged, so we rely heavily on fans and peers to bring up our work when relevant.

I cannot stress enough how important it is that you recommend indie TTRPGs you like online. Someone on Reddit asked for a game rec, only like 3 out of 20 people said my game, but it made for a massive wave of visits to the Itch page. Word of mouth is real.
