Awesome paper by David Anderson, outstanding former postdoc with me and Mary O'Connor.
Carlson et al. build a mathematical model considering how genotype-by-environment interactions can maintain variation and parametrize their model to test its applicability to real mutualisms.

Had a wonderful time visiting @carleton.edu, organized by Kate Meyers (math) and Amanda Hund (biology). Many fun discussions with students and faculty, and surprisingly large attendance for both of my talks. Northfield is lovely and the cold air was refreshing for this west coaster.
