I'm not a doctor though. It's probably different if the shots are to allow you to exercise your shoulder, and not to hide the pain of a deteriorating hip.

I'm a bit paranoid about shots. My mom put off a hip replacement with steroid shots, and it was catastrophic to her health. (Short version: the shots stopped working, and she had to spend most of a summer essentially bedbound. She never recovered her original level of ability)
Please clap
The way I think of it comes from when I was in high school, taking lots of standardized tests. In some tests, you get partial credit for knowing you don't know the answer and leaving it blank. In the real world there's no points for giving up.
What would you do differently? I've been inspired by you, and taking more photographs lately, but I don't know much beyond "that looks cool" click
First, it's immoral. Second, it doesn't work. Third, what's gonna happen when all those people you've taught to commit war crimes come home?
I've been trying to figure out what's going on. It's very in media res
His truth goes marching on!
"Building your city on a dead god was better than two silver mines and a good stand of timber.". I can't help but feel that Adrian Tchaikovsky has been playing Civilization.
Somebody should tell Trump that he can make a lot of money by betting that he won't invade Iran and then not invading Iran.
I've been using Inkarnate to create hex maps for mythic bastionland, but I don't know if it allows for sharing or multiple editors
I did not know about that, now I have to go do some research
Fuck Trump ... Fuck Maga ... Fuck Bovino ... Fuck ICE! *run run run*
Because I am a math geek, I wanted to put exact numbers on that. In 2022 the men's 500m speed skating gold medal was 34.32s and the bronze was 34.49. A 0.495% difference would take you from gold to off the podium.
So in theory the rules might be more stringent, but in practice they're not enforced. Although I guess I can't even say that, because qualified immunity is a thing :/
I don't exactly disagree, because I think you know more than me about the rules of engagement for cops and soldiers, but I'm surprised. Can you give an example of something that a cop can do that a soldier can't?
Wait, what? They got enough funding to be one of the largest militaries in the world; what happened to it? Did it all get embezzled away before it got to the actual agents?
Not that he did a great job of hiding it to begin with.
I think it's linked to his senility, but not because I think he used to be less racist. It's just that he's not able to hide it anymore. (Of course, it could also be that he just doesn't want to hide it anymore)
I volunteer to pay twice as much for groceries if you would just get rid of fucking ice
On Android Simon Tatham's Puzzles is great. It's not flashy, but it's got about 20 different kinds of logic games like sudoku or minesweeper.
I was listening to NPR coverage of this, and they were very careful not to express an opinion about whether or not this was a violation of the first amendment. I give them 5$ a month, and I'm starting to feel like that's too much.
Rainbows end, by vernor vinge. Torment nexus, yadda yadda
How should I refer to your bill when I tell my senators and representative about it?
I want the Nobel prize committee to announce that now that Trump has the FIFA Peace prize, he's no longer eligible for the Nobel Peace prize because you can only win one peace prize
Guys, you gotta work harder to distinguish your posts from the pitchbot
Who are these researchers so desperate for cocaine that they're looking in the shrimp?
The crazy thing is, even if you doubled flight attendant pay, the CEO would still be making more than 500 times as much
If ice agents are still eating in restaurants at this stage, they must love the taste of cum
I like some wodehouse, but some of it can get grating. I like jeeves+wooster and blandings, but some of the protagonists of his other stories can seem like blindly privileged bullies. (Not in how their behavior is described obviously, but in the things they are described doing)
