From the 1930s until the mid 1950s, The Short Stop Inn was located at the corner of Harrison Ave. and Winchell, a few blocks from Crosley Field. The Stop Inn in Walnut Hills purchased the old sign in 80s for $10 at a flea market. It recently sold at auction for $24,808.67

Of all the films over the years, my doc on the long lost Covington Blue Sox remains my favorite. How many times in life do you get to bring back a forgotten team that gets an historical plaque, a sports bar, (Smoke Justis) a throwback game, and an groundcrew jacket.
