The killing of Iranian children during an illegal war is an impeachable offense (not to mention a grave crime) and Congress should really act like it.

15 Republicans in the Senate could end this nightmare before it somehow gets even worse.

Humanity heating planet faster than ever before, study finds Researchers identify sharp rise to about 0.35C every decade, after excluding natural fluctuations such as El NiΓ±o

Climate breakdown is occurring more rapidly with the heating rate almost doubling, according to research that excludes the effect of natural factors behind the latest scorching temperatures.

Last year there were 35, which matched a record set from over a decade ago. We’re already almost a third of the way there and it’s only March.

They've now killed four people -- three U.S. citizens and a Mexican national. They've shot several more.

They've lied about all of them. They haven't shaded the truth. They haven't "misled" us. They've brazenly, knowingly lied while in possession of the evidence disproving their lies.

Police body cam footage shows DOGE knew Institute of Peace was private property during raid Footage obtained by The Handbasket’s lawsuit shows a hostile takeover on March 17, 2025.

SCOOP β€” Body camera footage obtained as a result of my lawsuit against the DC Metropolitan PD confirms DOGE and the Trump administration openly admitted they were entering private property when they raided the building on March 17, 2025. That didn't stop MPD from breaking down the doors.

My report:

One of the main themes in this article is the risk of suicide to detainees. There’s no way to describe these conditions other than psychological torture.

Attempted suicides, fights, pain: 911 calls reveal misery at ICE’s largest detention facility The calls to 911 poured in from staff at Camp East Montana, the nation's largest U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention facility, in its first months of operation in El Paso, Texas.

β€œEvery day felt like a week. Every week felt like a month. Every month felt like a year,” said Owen Ramsingh, a former property manager in Columbia, Missouri... β€œCamp East Montana was 1,000% worse than a prison.”

β€œParents explicitly cited fear as the primary driver… Families of our Black and brown students feared profiling and family separation, even as legal residents. White families reported keeping children home due to anxieties about potential armed law enforcement activity inside our schools.”

ICE is STILL in Minnesota and STILL terrorizing communities. Reporters that say otherwise are either uninformed (which....) or lazy (which... ) or just repeating regime lies (which... is also extremely bad).

People are still missing, people are and will be traumatized, businesses demolished...

NEW: Federal judges have spent months ordering ICE to give detainees a chance for release in bond hearings.

Now, they're worried that the bond hearings themselves β€” conducted by Executive Branch immigration judges β€” are a farce.

We know that ICE never left Minnesota, but there are signs that any drawdown phase is over.

ICE activity is ramping up across the country and Minnesota isn’t exempt from that. ICE has set a new baseline of β€œnormal” ICE activity in our state and that baseline is rising again.

Some Minneapolis council members critical of MPD reaction or inaction to ICE agents Police chief Brian O’Hara said he’s mostly pleased with how the department performed during the months-long ICE enforcement surge. However, some council members pushed back on that assessment.

The Constitution is clear: Congress decides on war. When a president uses military force without authorization and Congress stays silent, they are abandoning their role as a co equal branch of government. War is the most serious power our government has. Shame on the U.S. Senate today.

Definitely not a new phenomenon. It’s really more of a revived phenomenon.

This kind of retaliation was very common before Obama pressured schools to protect survivors’ rights. We got a brief reprieve before Trump reversed course and doubled down on survivor punishment.

They tortured him. An untreated tooth infection is torture.
