A grim BBC report from Havana filed 4 days ago. The Trump Administration is deliberately causing the worst humanitarian crisis of my lifetime in the western hemisphere and the US prestige press can't be bothered to cover it. Please shame them into reporting on this crisis before people start dying.
The world is rightly concerned w/a potential water war in the Gulf, but there is silence (outside of expat media) of the crisis currently happening in Cuba. W/regular blackouts that can last for days & the lack of fuel to pump water, diseases are spreading & taps are running dry. Where's the media?!

Just to put that staggering $170 BILLION appropriation for ethnic cleansing into perspective:
The GOP's One Big, Beautiful Bill allocated $170 billion over 4 years for border security & immigration, and ICE announced in Nov. that it would spend $2.25 million to buy 25 Tahoes wrapped in the agency's logo. The contract was given to GOP donor Rick Hendrick, owner of Hendrick Motorsports in NC.
But we were told the war was about imminent nuclear attack or Israel — or anything except the Epstein files.🙄
Watch this little DOGE brat squirm.
Maybe that’s why Trump is demanding unconditional surrender — because he thinks it’s easier to demand everything rather than state his war aims in a coherent manner.

If it turns into a water war, you can bet locals will cut off foreign migrant laborers from Asia and Africa first before they conserve any water themselves. Once again, the costs will not be shared equally.
I got it three years ago. No regrets, but it did knock me out with flu-like symptoms for a day for both doses.

The humanitarian costs of this war are in no way almost over. They are just beginning. The market may have temporarily recovered but I remain in despair.
