I guess A. A little bit for Calpernia. And presumably Isseya is considered a villain in DATV, but she's a very sympathetic/tragic character in the book.

The reason this sounds so stupid is this guy has never done a real day’s work in his useless life.

He could simply get away with it by using the same dark magic he used on the last pope.

β€œFrisson of transgression” is a big dumb way to say β€œabusing others for fun”. Can’t take what she dishes out, I guess.

Depending on what game you’ve wandered into, you’re going to need either explosives or a warrior class party member to kick that in, because guaranteed there’s some good loot in there.

Trump voters enjoyed the pandemic disruption so much they voted to make it repeat forever.

Another trend is that factions in the game were increasingly seen as 1:1 parallels with real-world groups. While there are undeniably some influences there - the Dalish elves are an oppressed, nomadic group who resist cultural genocide - Gaider did not envision them to be seen as direct counterparts to things in our own world

Also yes, I see people do this it's so silly. It reminds me how, if you have a painting of people in your house and a little kid sees it they will ask "who is that, is that you?" and fully expect it to be a member of your household. Like their imagination can't quite grasp a person who isn't real.

I actually thought Orsino giving up and becoming an abomination made sense. He was expecting to die anyways, might as well maximize enemy casualties on the way out. Don't warden mages talk about becoming abominations rather than being taken alive by darkspawn in some codex entry?

David Gaider Reflects On 15 Years Of Dragon Age 2 - A Fan-Favorite Story That Was The Team's First Draft David Gaider talks us through a story that had to be written so quickly that his team had no time to doubt themselves.

This is a really great read. I remember the big kerfuffle around Anders hitting on men by a bunch of supposedly alienated homophobic super-fans who I guess just forgot all about Zevran?

Trump voters said they don't need the rest of the world and brag about how much they hate us over and over. Why on earth are they leaving their Trumpian paradise?

It always has mattered, in a sense. Trump supporters love that he puts the broads in their place. They love that he's a sex pest. They always have. That's manly strength and power to them.

Rude of trump and his stupid voters to start blowing up half the planet before I had a chance to see very much of it. I really should have traveled more when I was young.

Local kennel has scary reviews. Far away kennel we used like 10 years ago might work. I looked into Rover but quickly realizing that those sitters probably can't be a solid yes so soon in advance and I don't want to book an expensive vacation without a solid plan.
