He specifically said it would be better to develop the land as it is expensive land and to move the Forum somewhere else. I guess to the other cheap Halifax land that exists?

Except this kind of thing happens, has happened and will happen again. Being lead off course in major races isn't new.

I ran in shorts twice this week! (in between days of -10)

Why do the McDs CEO's eyes look like they sedated him to do the ad?

I have had these chats with all the AIs. It is very weird.

Hendsbee: Also can you figure out how I can get a pension that I sold for magic beans years ago?

I could tell when he jumped ship for fear Trudeau would take him down. Then pretended like he could move a Canada Post building.

I think they declared the storm over at 7am, so they get what, 16 hours to get the work done? Ugh.

Cuts to Art and Heritage generally come fast and furious, and bring little savings, but long term set backs.

"But how does this help my car?" says someone somewhere out there. And Fillmore perks up....

In other horrible news I found another Keurig pod at work and decided to use it.

Shovelling last night was the good call. The plow stuff this morning was horrendous.

It is amazing how everyday brings a new "gotcha" moment with these people and yet here we still are.

Don't forget that many service stations in rural NS are probably applauding this. While the fact that gas cars are and will be still a huge part of vehicles for the foreseeable future, even the notion that 1 less car may stop to fill up is scary. This helps secure votes in those areas.

At what point in any of his politics has Andy done more than grandstand and look out for himself? If anyone on council should know how city government works it is him with his past.

So did he forget how a city works in the meantime?

What previous city planning horrors can be traced back to Fillmore?

Every problem with Halifax transit could be fixed with more Halifax Transit. Fast efficient buses would be amazing. The cost of extra employees and more busses seems cheaper than a tunnel.

Watching the tech evolve on robot vacuums has been fun. It is also sad to see the classic Roomba struggling compared to others in the category. Eufy and Roborock are leading the charge in my head to head tests.

AI "vibe" coding is not as easy as the bros try to make you think. Yet, it does have some good uses for really random small, non-essential "programs" that people can create for themselves. For me, creating converting programs has been super useful. They aren't pretty but very useful

A day of big melt left a lot of water, so yeah, salt would have been warranted.

Beechville, sidewalks have cleared, partial ice, partial snow drifts from street plows. Kids will likely be walking in the street to get to the school.
