The CL is so boring. The plucky underdogs slapping the PL are the up&comers Real, PSG & Atletico.

I did delight in the rogue Arsenal fan who snuck into the ground and was sat in front of me - I was pleased to clap him on the shoulder and "commiserate" with him.
Considering Postecoglou's record against the big 6 it was moot whether we could have beaten a rampant City anyway.
Lol, Aussies are always projecting how tough they are, but now you're saying Postecoglou was "broken" by a few fans not wanting to hand Arsenal the title? ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
I mean how does that explain the debacle at Forest?
Spurs weren't ready for CL, and it's not like it instantly solves all problems - as this year has proven. Europa campaign was exactly what we needed.
Remember when Arsenal fans were loudly willing their team to lose the Europa final in 2019 if it meant Tottenham didn't win the CL final a week later? By your logic you're to blame for all the 2nd place finishes because you've created a 'toxic environment".
Yep, anyone who'll play a fairly uncomplicated 4231.
Pair Mason with anyone experienced who'll take some pressure off the squad and we have a chance.
Short turnaround for City, they'll massively rotate.
We should be able to keep some big players - the financial losses cover 3 yrs so includes our runs in the Europa&CL when we made decent operating profits.
We can to restore some pride/direction by making players like Gray&Bergvall the team's leaders, and having Moore Donley & Byfield in lilywhite.
Relegation will at least force the owners to stop taking the fanbase for granted. 2nd highest ticket prices in the country but over the last 4 seasons we've watched the 2nd most league defeats. Even Brentford & Fulham have better home records over that time.
I didn't phrase it well - I think they assumed it was easy to get top 4/5.
Levy & co used to be innovators (creating CL squads in 2010 and then 2016) but I don't think they realised how tough the PL is now.
Lange's remit was to buy teenagers who'll make us title challengers in X years - hence spending ยฃยฃยฃ on Gray Bergvall Tel etc.
The rest of the squad was allowed to be neglected because they thought they were smarter than every other team. Hubris has killed this club.
Matt Law also wrote that tomorrow's match *could* act as an audition for Romero at Atleti - it's speculative nonsense.
We've lost 41 of our last 74 PL games going back to the last few months of Ange's 1st season - only Wolves have more defeats. We're f*cking sh*te and have been for ages.
Relegation is surely inevitable now.
If they're only motivated by bundles of cash then I don't want any of them near the club - that's the Catch-22.
This is how I'm rationalising that relegation won't be a disaster - if it means the ENIC disappear from all decision making them we'll be better off.
Right now we have fund managers making football decisions - we're about as authentic as a shopping mall.
FT comments section this morning - saying what everyone else is thinking, right?
Was at that game. So many Spurs fans dotted among the home fans and unable to control ourselves from visibly celebrating when Moura scored.
The fact that beucher is anywhere near decision making is an absolute disgrace - genuinely feel like picking up a pitchfork about it.
We're definitely acing the "not peaking too early" bit.
VINDICATION! ๐จ
Look at Smith-Rowe's 1v1 where Fulham cut through the middle. Sarr was running back & picked up the first man available, the pass backwards to LB/CB, and didn't smell the danger of the player in the 10 in acres of space. Biss & Palhinha collided in the 1st few minutes- they're all a bunch of clowns.
Has he made a noticeable impact in any of those games? I don't have a narrative apart from Sarr being deeply average (in a team that's worse than average). I struggle to think of any PL midfields that our CMs would start for.
We need something in CM, Palhinha only had 54% pass completion vs Fulham.
Sarr started the 3 games before Fulham, we remained as solid as blancmange with him. In fact it was his missed tackle on Saka that led to the first goal vs Arse. We're full of runners in midfield we can't control matches.
Do you know where I can find open play xg stats?
All those losses were from March onwards last year when we mostly gave up on the league. Our result vs Brighton when the whole squad were legless isn't really an indication of anything.
Thiago & Schade scoring for fun without Frank.
It'll be a brave/desperate PL club who gives Frank his next job.
Every other team gets men in the box. Sunderland got a tap-in today from a rebound off a goalie's save - Frank never committed enough men forward.
I'm wondering how we've scored at all this season.
A spineless appointment by ENIC.
We're currently the worst team in the league unless Tudor can do something.
Hope Tudor doesn't got with a back 5 tomorrow, Fulham only play with 1 striker. Maybe a 442 with Mickey on the left allowing them to move to a back 3 when Porro pushes forward.
