Ultimae Paginae – a set of seven “mini-explosions” for solo piano that I began in 2022 and completed last month. The amazing Alex Waite is playing a selection of these in Huddersfield in April as part of an ELISION concert – more details coming soon!

20 years ago today, inward was premiered in London by Kathleen Gallagher, Carl Rosman, and Mark Knoop. After that, Ensemble SurPlus, with Liz Hirst, Nicola Miorada, and Sven Thomas Kiebler, conducted by the late James Avery, gave this amazing performance in Stuttgart.

Unearthed this treasure last year and have been coming back to it regularly. The Piano Quintet in G minor is just exquisite!
Interesting coincidence: the viola player, Berian Evans, was with WASO 20th Century Ensemble and played in one of my early works in the late 90s...
Ryszard's impressive and intriguing discography, all in one place! I particularly recommend Kompozycje Izorytmiczne (Isorhythmic Compositions) - an album of his own works. If you go to Seeds, you'll find a work of mine there... all worth having a listen to!
