3.. then specially applied as you see in the video. It felt like a really positive & healing thing to do for my wildlife/veggie outside space, especially with the madness that's going on in the world at the mo. I'll keep you posted as the year unfolds. Wish me luck. 🌿🌱🇬🇧🌱🌍🪲🐦‍⬛

2. So this is my first major step - I purchased preparation 500, which contains all sorts of botanics & concentrated nutrients, encased in cow manure to feed, heal & encourage my garden. This needs to be specially prepared... 🌿🌱🇬🇧🌱🌍🪲🐦‍⬛

1. A thread - Did u know? As well as growing more of my own organic food this year, I'm also going to embrace some of the ideas of Biodynamic gardening. Biodynamics is a holistic way of gardening that appeals to me. It enriches outside spaces by growing with the earth's natural rhythms....🌱🌿🌍🌱🌍🪲🐦‍⬛

In all my days, I've never seen such a war-like lunatic in charge...He has to be the most dangerous individual on this planet at the moment...

Hallelujah! We have a cattle grid at the entrance to our house & it's so important to add steps or an escape ramp so that animals can escape. Our grid has brick steps leading to freedom. Such a fab story here...🙌

Did u know? The small souls in our outside spaces are easy to ignore or dismiss, but they literally underpin our world.Woodlice are amongst the group of animals we call detritivores. They eat spent organic matter, thereby recycling it & minimising the occurrence of disease.Celebrate the small 🌱🌿🇬🇧🌱🌍🪲🐙

Yay! We're the same. There's not much that either gets recycled or composted in our house. 🤣

Did u know?Nesting season is underway. There's plenty of moss for the broody birds on my patch, but I always like to supplement their choice of soft material with organic packing wool. It's benign 'cos it's been cleaned at source. I cut it up into tiny chunks, so it doesn't entangle the chicks.🌿🌱🇬🇧🌱🌍🐦‍⬛

Exact same spot.
Exact same time of year.
Four years apart.
Not a thing planted.

The power of rewilding.

Meanwhile, down by the #weedypond the Robin is also gathering moss - what a wonderful building material this is.
Here we see that whilst a rolling stone can gather no moss,
a Robin gathering moss cannot take a drink...

They look great. When we prune our buddleia, as the weather warms, the offcuts will be going around our ponds too.

Did u know?As nature is under duress, I ensure my garden is productive for wildlife. Everything I plant/build/design is with the benefit of small souls in mind. However,I also want to connect with nature by growing more of my own food - all part of the reconnection that humans have lost. Go sow🌱🌿🇬🇧🌱🌍

How wonderful! I'm not familiar with CNT moths. Must look them up - hopefully I might get them too....🙏Yes, they're gorgeous old-fashioned wildflowers, that are as tough as old boots & spread everywhere. My short tongued hoverflies love them.

Did u know?A wildlife pond is one of the best additions to a garden. This is a quick vid on what to include.Other considerations:Position away from full sun,as it'll encourage algae.Away from deciduous trees,or you'll get leaf drop which'll clog the pond up. Depth-60cm to attract dragonflies.🌱🌿🇬🇧🌱🌍🪲🐸🦎

Fungicides used in agriculture cause resistence in Aspergillus fumigatus (fungus present in every compost heap) wich can infect immunocompromised people. In the NL 1000 infections of resistent Aspergillus each year, 200 fatalities. Don't contribute to this and eat organic!
