One of the biggest things I've learned in life is "you can't pour from an empty cup", if you want to look out for others, you have to remember to put your name on the list to take care of too. Otherwise you get so burnt out that you can't even take care of yourself much less anyone you want to help.

I'm just glad my partner got something he's wanted this year. He doesn't usually get anything really nice for himself and has wanted one for years.

This summer is gonna be a good one. My partner got this and a firepit table I spotted on sale for $199 instead of $599 since it was the last one and I was more than okay with a floor model for that level of discount. (I wanted him to use his bonus this year on himself.)

Yeah there's a surprising number of plants that rely only on wasps. So as much as I don't like them, I try to understand.

It landed on a box and stayed still. I was sitting there just hoping I could get it out because Mochi was getting very curious about the flying thing and I wanted to protect him. 🤣 My own fear didn't really kick in until I sat back down because I was focused on keeping him safe.

So a wasp got in the house today, & I'm terrified of them after getting stung bad as a kid.

I turned the upper lights off, let it land & caught it in a cup on a box, & got it outside without killing it.

I've never gotten one out so quick without killing it. I'm thankful it didn't try to sting me.
