Just learned that the word most often translated as "box" in the myth of Pandora is "pithos" which is more like a large ceramic jar... and is the same word for the type of big barrel that Diogenes lived in.

Similarly, my government name is "Mason", despite the fact that I am not a stoneworker, and my username is "Tailsteak" despite the fact that I am not a cooked slice of tail, and neither particularly needs to say "Human", as that is clear simply by looking at me.
That is what it *is*, yes, but that's not its *name*. A logo, generally communicates an identity, not a nature. FedEx communicates the identity of a specific delivery company (with a negative-space arrow implying what they do), it doesn't communicate that they supplied food to a former lover.

The ball is even bouncing where the apostrophe should go if it's "Pet's Mart", showing that there's no apostrophe there (and the ball itself is certainly not shaped like the missing punctuation). I choose to believe this person is singing on behalf of their dog, who is colour blind.
Red "Pet", blue "smart", red ball, blue action lines.
The "PET" is a different colour from the "SMART". The ball (a THING, aka, a NOUN) is RED like PET and the motion lines (an abstraction showing that the ball is MOVING, aka, what it's DOING and what it's LIKE) are BLUE like SMART, the rare case of a picture that demonstrates the intended grammar.

Well, Lee *is* a tad distracted. Also, the hatch may have been decommissioned and no longer in use, therefore the associated platforms were removed, and it was not expected that anyone would be approaching it from the other side. Also, it's funny.
I like how the wobbliness of the line could be a metacommentary on the fact that BmcE evidently didn't bother with a compass or a circle template or even with tracing around a shotglass for that unicycle wheel. Are we not all, in our own way, precariously balanced?

1) I love this I love this I love the sentiment behind it, I love the composition, I love the style.
2) I never noticed how weird it looks to see Samus' normal-scaled arm emerging from her giant-shouldered armour. It's correct, but my brain keeps saying "no, shoulder up here, arm should be big".
As a general rule, I'm better at handling the Me parts of my characters, but have trouble with the Other parts. I guess they help me exercise empathy in that way, each of them drags me over to a Thing that I am Not and says "yes, but I AM this, so learn it and feel it with me".
Most of my OCs manifest my inherent drive to determine the self through Actions and not Origins or Relationships, but Bellina cares about style & gender presentation, DJING! has an ego and likes crowds, A-Bomb likes getting *nasty*, Wanda cares about her personal brand, etc etc.
