Well done Robin! Takes a lot of guts to stand up for what's right as you have done. Hope you have a lovely Christmas - looking forward to whatever's next!

Just saw Inter Alia at the National Theatre, starring Rosamund Pike @jamieglover.bsky.social and Jasper Talbot. SO good, brilliantly performed and so important and thought-provoking! If I'm ever a dad, this one will be in my head. Should you get the chance, strong recommend!
Planning on starting a new Skyrim run this weekend on a stream - what cool new/updated mods do you recommend I check out? #skyrim
One day I'd love to record a French dub of my Lucien follower mod and have him become an assassin. But then, what are Lachances of that?
A Thing I Wrote on the Tram I walk fast. I've got places to be and things to do! Sometimes that place is my sofa and the thing is a video game But I want to be there! So I walk fast. This morning I was walking to catch the tram. I didn't know when it was due, so I walked fast in case I'd just miss it. I passed an old man with a crutch. He did not walk fast. His steps were tiny and pained, barely a few inches at a time. And between each step, a pause and a clack as he hefted his crutch. I thought about what it must be like to be him. How frustrating, to have once walked fast, and now to be so. Slow.
One day that will be me, I thought. I don't look forward to that. But it's a long time away. A problem for future me. And I hurried on to the tram stop. Turns out it wasn't due for another five minutes, so I sat on a bench and replied to some emails. I worried about the things I had to get done today. After a while, I heard heavy breathing. And there he was, with his crutch. I scooched over to the end of the bench, so he could sit. But he didn't sit. He hobbled past me. Oh, I thought, he must not be getting the tram. But he struggled onward to the next bench. He just didn't want to sit next to me. Good for him.
I looked back at my phone and considered playing Bloons. What can I say, I'm easily distracted. I heard a shhhkk! And I looked up. The old man had lit a cigarette. We sat there for a minute. His second hand smoke drifted over to me. I thought about cancer, and time, and age, and death, and my brain briefly boiled with the familiar fear of the fleetingness of existence. And then we both got on the tram.

Lesson learned: if you offer to review indie books and ask for no AI slop, people will immediately send you AI slop π
ACX authors and narrators! I would love to listen to and review your audiobook. Having recently released my own, I know it's tough, and I've love to fill my daily commute with indie audio! So please send me your UK promo codes and I'll get on it π #booksky #acx #audiobooksky #indieauthor π©΅π π’ππ§π
@audiodrama.bsky.social Hi! I recently produced an audio drama I'd love to have listed on your site - do you accept submissions?
Now also on Instawhatsit, come follow me for pictographic nonsense: www.instagram.com/josephrussel...
Ha! No, that would have been a bit random.
Me and BluePwnsU, author of Xelzaz!
First visitor in Odense! So lovely to finally meet Xelzaz's Dad @bluepwnsu.bsky.social in person! What a nice chap.
Ahh Fraggle Rock!! β€οΈ If we can get anywhere near those vibes we're doing something right! Dad's original Treacle People TV show actually used to be on just after The Hoobs, which was another lovely Jim Henson show. 6:30 am before school, happy days...
Some of them! We took new photos of Tapper, Lil and Brendan for the cover art, and we also have Digger, Wizzle, Bert and a couple of Wild Boggarts. We'd love to find out where the others ended up!
Joseph Russell, Glynn Mills, Jim Norton and Caroline Bernstein in a recording studio.
Iain Russell with a treacle-eating boggart.
Also, here's my Dad with a treacle-eating boggart back when he produced the original The Treacle People TV series, along with me and the cast in the studio when we recorded last may! We all had a wonderful time. I think Dad would have loved it.
Five puppets and a treacle-eating boggart look towards the camera, in an underground treacle mine full of lava. Above, "The Treacle People" is written in dripping treacle. Below, "Still Sticky, by Jonathan Trueman".
Directed and produced an indie full-cast comedy audio drama about treacle mining as a tribute to my late Dad! It's on Audible now and is extremely silly - think The Goon Show, Hancock's Half Hour, etc. Would love it if you fancy dropping a credit on it?

No worries at all if not - but if you do, please do let me know and I'll record you a custom thank you message as Lucien!
So I just wanted to ask - is there any chance any of you have 99p and ten minutes going spare? If so, it'd be absolutely amazing if you could possibly help me out by buying and watching episode 1, and leaving a quick review.
What I could really, really do with is some reviews, as we've only got two, one of them was my Mum, and it isn't the best look to help encourage new viewers to give it a try.
