I am in the mix of the middle of all of these books right now, and soon to be finishing them. just had a beloved animal pass away in my family due to cancer, so I have been a bit slow on the reading, but I have gotten some ARCs this year from some authors I wanted to try out.
The ending was unexpected, and the way that we learn about the MMC, and the slow burn of him slowly realizing he loves her, I loved it.

The second book I read this year, was "your knife, my heart!" I went into it blind, only knowing that is was a military/dark ops romance. If I'm being honest, I just liked the cover and was seeing it all over social media. But, I did end up liking it a lot.
The books were both very good, and I personally loved them. I think that Leigh did a very good job on a serious mental health condition and I fell in love with Malachi with every page I turned. Please be advised, this is a taboo romance, so read with caution and know your trigger warnings.
