I read the Kite Runner in my 11th grade high school English class; it was the least-chosen book, I think just because it wasn't familiar to us, but I was just blown away.
I'm still on Book 5, I love Jordan but they're definitely a momentous task to get through!

That's possible for sure, I've seen it happen. Journalists use transcription tools quite a lot, or else we couldn't sift through so much tape as quickly as we need to. But yes, to preempt the obvious question: anything that actually gets to print should have been double checked.
