Yikes!

Northern Greenland as seen from a Boeing 747 in December 2025. Luxurious raisin forests cover the ground, while a cheese monster digs a large hole.
In case anyone ever wondered what the far north of Greenland looks like, this is it (from my flight earlier this month).
I like to think the orange lights are from the elf workshop, not just reflections from inside the cabin.
information and foolishness the balance was π
Yeah this is the way but damn
Yeah I get it butβ¦. man OG twitter used to be such a joy. I got a video with massive likes a day or so ago there but none of the silliness that we all were engaged in. The likes are nice but the chat is the gold. Iβm gonna post here for the next bit and @ a few of the old gang; give Bluesky a try
Holy shit man.
Yeah itβs me Martin I am tuning in here and it feels vacant as does twitter. Oh how I miss the good old days. The golden era of Gaijin twitter was unlike any other virtual or real community that I have been part of. I get views and likes but all of it all feels broken π’
Stitched panorama of the view of Tokyo from the i-Link Tower in Ichikawa, Chiba. This 43floor viewing deck is one of the best views of the city on a good day. Here we see the Skytree almost dead centre in the composition. With distant Shinjuku skyscrapers behind. Mount Fuji is in the very back of the left hand side of the frame. Orangey sky. Lots of clouds. The top of Fuji is covered by clouds. Just close to sunset.

This was the perfect dusk scene.
Good morning. Dry & cool in Tokyo today. Doing a bit of catchup work in the office. Mentoring session online later with one of my clients in Australia. Fairly chilled but productive day in prospect.
Couple of shots from the i-Link Tower in Ichikawa for #Stunday. More in the ALT.

I took my human to the beach
We spilled a tray of fried
oysters into the sand
a parent can
choose to not loose their
shit when the coveted
oysters are in the sand
My new iPhone fell into the
ocean this day
gone forever
I remained calm
My child said this was
the best beach day of his life
99% chance in JapanβοΈ

I pretty much signed out and took a pause there and now I am kinda paused here..
I shot a bunch of my nonsensical observations pictures and videos etc but
Iβm on the fence about participating in social media in general again.
I donβt want to participate in anything connected to misery βοΈ
this is amazing
Anybody that has followed me on social media knows of my incredible racism and contempt towards the Japanese
itβs well documented!
I absolutely canβt stand Japanese culture

Deep bow.
My apologies the white man is always right.
I would write more but I need to go kill someone in my minivan.
You are in the right country with the right attitude.
You have the perfect amount of smugness and righteousness
I wish you continued success

Well done.
Persistence is usually
a foolproof strategy
WTF yer making bread now? Thatβs cool
Thatβs such a bummer. We have followed each other on social media for a while now.
I essentially never complain but that license situation was not right.
In the end a younger guy passed me with a perfect score.
My Japanese partner who is objectively a bad driver passed on first try. Messed up.
The Shinkansen is
This is at about 70% throttle. New motor weβve put in this is insane. Full power itβs around 70kph.
It makes me furious just thinking about it. I have been coming here for 16 years! Very very few complaints. They absolutely without question discriminated against me and essentially ruined my first year here. Making me try over and over again. This type of cruel thing never ever happens here.
Donβt get me started π€
I have been driving for 25 years in America without a single incident.
Getting my Japanese driverβs license was one of the hardest things that I have ever done in my life.
I almost never ever say things are unfair here but that was not reasonable or fair at all whatsoever
Ahh itβs all different now. Thanks again!
The reflection of an almost full moon on the water crosses the reflection of a passing Keisei line on an iron bridge, making us wonder if it is time to repent for all our sins, although this is the Good Place so weβre probably fine. I am also crossing the river on the way home on my bicycle last night. Ainβt language a blast?
