Rice in the rice cooker, microwave frozen veg (we always have edamame and corn but any veg works), crack an egg or two and just stir it up in there and let it sit in the rice heat for a minute to set up. Add any sauces or toppings if you wanna, furikake, sesame, green onion, or chilicrisp all good

Lol I just got finished having a huge meltdown about this same thing. Like our grocery bill alone has tripled and we’ve been trying so hard to tighten the belt. This kind of living is so unsustainable and yet there are zero tangible safety nets!

Your work and perspective is a gift given freely, I’m sorry so many people are throwing it back in your face in some blind pursuit of ‘decency’ because they cannot exact power in their own lives.
