The whole point being - the risk of paying him would probably be worth the reward.

2007 - Pats trade a 2nd and 7th for a 25 yr old UDFA who in 3 seasons had 96 catches for 1121 yds and 1 TD. Big price for an unknown. We all know how Welker turned out. Flourished w/Brady and McDaniels.
Pierce is also 25. No question he could become Welker level production w/Maye and McDaniels.
Lisa, it's amazing how proudly they flaunt their ignorance and the way they do it with such confidence. It's like a bunch of 3 year olds who spout non-sensical things, except it's not cute or amusing, just eye-rolling and infuriating.
Pathetic they were in the bonus with 9 min left and have only shot 2 foul shots since. Dumb basketball
He's also become a "crafty" rebounder like Larry was at times, especially on the offensive boards.
Arresting journalists like Russia.
Blatant racism using a chains emoji for arresting a black man.
Blondi arresting more black people in connection with this.
The question is, @jimacosta.bsky.social , what are we going to do about this? How can this stand?
A "law enforcement professional"...who takes $50k bribes from undercover FBI agents. JFC Tim.
Exactly. A lot of condemnations but no answers or solutions.
Yes. That video needs to get out and fast. She had an unobstructed view. They are already claiming the person was armed. That video will clearly show if he was or not.
SF based group
and on a team that loves to shoot from beyond the arc, it makes him that much more valuable. what's great is it gives them 3 guards (him, PP and D White) who can fill it up from outside but also penetrate into the paint for easy 2s. PP's development of the paint hesitation/spin/fall away is great
Agree. He seems to have found (and accepted) his role. More importantly, he is in Joe's Circle of Trust.
Getting killed in transition too
That's what I suspected - which begs the question why call a play with so many moving parts on the line when, on this drive, execution is everything. Maye avoided a disastrous first play, which probably would have changed the whole tenor of that drive...
Mark - wtf is Bradbury doing on this play???
Everything he touches turns to crap
Another guy from the couch who has been screaming that for 3 games. It's so obvious and the fact that Joe has not made that adjustment is really bad.
Right? Inexcusable to let them inbound, bring it full court and lay it in without any attempt at stopping ball. Just a terrible defensive lapse and happens far too often.
Exactly Richard. They should be looking to push after every miss. It's pretty simple. The Magic want to muck the game up and slow it down. They play right into their hands when they walk the ball up and let the Magic set. I don't understand why they aren't pushing as much as they can.
:-)
My memory was good
I was there as well. In a sky box with my family. Same age as well. First time I saw my dad cry.
I believe David Thompson was in battle with George Gervin for the scoring title that day and he scored 73 pts I think...
Being reported it's Dallas's supplemental 5th, so it is not 149
Take them down, Queen
I'd love to see them try and pull that with you. You'd have them pooping their pants.
Once again, Bobby...Brown's squad to start the 2nd and the offense goes completely south. 2 pts in 4 min. Double digit lead down to 1. Brown needs to start backing up his talk.
Need to find a way to play well when Tatum goes out because it's becoming too much of an uncomfortable pattern that when Brown is leading the squad, the offense goes south and the defense becomes non-existent.
