An excellent speech, Polly. @ayeshahazarika.bsky.social referred to a “boys’ club” on GMB this morning. I hadn’t thought of it in those terms. She referred to comments she made last year about Mandelson as unpopular. She was, unsurprisingly, prescient.
I spoke yesterday in the House of Commons about the Epstein and Mandelson scandal and how this is the moment when we should draw a line under a culture where talent or connections overrides bad behaviour, character or judgement
