From a mechanics perspective a big wall damage hitbox that moves slowly sounds like it could be a very strong team fight tool if used right.
Visuals wise there had to have been a much better way to obscure information rather than whatever the hell they did (and also the awful buzzing sound effect.)

I actually ran into a pro team from Australia once in Open and got super turbo stomped. My MMR was definitely nowhere even close to what theirs was so I have no idea what happened there. I swear the matchmaking gets straight up drunk sometimes with how ridiculous some of the stompageddons get.

Do wonder how this will play out against Tacticoolers. Reckless usage of soda might end up feeding the enemy and turn the tables.
If the aura doesn't end up being the bigger impact, the hitboxes changes might be. That's going to screw with so many muscle memories.

Definitely seems kinda surreal in so many ways and its nuts that the Switch 2 might be the end of these eras. Just seeing the old guard leave after so long at last but also in this industry nowadays, there being an old guard to leave. That talent retention really did so much for the company.

Bit iffy on POH though yeah. Felt like the skill's focus simply shifted to Fort Forinthry instead and planting OSRS's version in RS3 wouldn't work due to it already being obsolete.

Conversely, whenever enemies take magic damage, their INT (which also serves as a defensive stat there) is capped to 100 at most so Mage damage even in the post-game will stay relevant, as bosses have like 400 or so INT at that point.

Did you know that Mages in 7th Dragon (DS) have a soft cap on their damage? If the damage they would deal is greater than 10 * their INT, any damage past that point is reduced by a whopping 80%! In some rare situations, this can make their charge skill (which is a 2.5x multiplier) a downgrade!
