B&M&S should be a thing. There's an M&S and B&M next door to each other at Team Valley in Gateshead and it's the best big shop experience. Get some fancy dips and treats and such from M&S, go next door and get a prepper's worth of canned and dried goods and a new wastebasket and sidetable for nowt.
