The volunteer got tears in her eyes and said, "He was my nurse. I got out of the ICU a week before he was killed." She talked about how special he was and that he sat with her for 20 minutes one day because she was having a hard day. She said he made each patient feel like they were his only patient. It was heartbreaking.but so touching.
