OH right!! Of course haha yes. It is super nice that physical games have all of the content contained from the beginning. The base copy at least. I have disliked the trend toward downloading to play anything since it was first introduced, bleh.
All excellent points! I don't disagree at all. I think it would have been better received if Nintendo had extended cost savings to consumers. At least you can still loan out/sell games freely as opposed to fully digital.
I know that it was a cost saving decision, but it would have been nice if those cost savings had been shared with consumers. I see the wrong part of digital (ie no convenience if you still have to insert the card), but what wrong part of physical? Sorry I'm feeling a little slow haha
You saying "as long as they keep it available" made a good point for me. I already had that thought about fully digital games, but I guess the problem does still apply for this, too. I do still appreciate that you can loan/sell the game keys this way as opposed to fully digital at least.
I do think it is better for consumers overall to just let us have a true physical game. But I read that you can still loan or sell these freely at least, as opposed to a fully digital copy. Is that true....?
I do see your points! I guess newer tech is typically more expensive until they are more widely available, so it will take time for that to level out (well, we all know it could be sooner if not for greed, but you get me).
