Iran, sorry.
Iran, of course. Not Iraq.
Apparently this little lot cost well over $1B. Will take years to build anew, if China even wants to provide the rare earths.
Was it worth it?

Was that when they were told that Iraq using drones worth thousands have destroyed hi-tech US radar installations worth more than $1B and blinded USA and Israel in the region. Why was it closed door and classified, many of us have seen the photographs thanks to this guy. 1/2
Are you aware that Iraq has blinded the USA military in the region by destroying their radar installations with simple drones. Over a billion dollars in damages, they will take years to replace. Israel's Iron Dome depended on systems for early warnings. Now...

This business in fact but not name does not pay business taxes or capital gains tax.

"The Duchy" is behaving like any other business and taking advantage of the provision of public money to pay for things their profits should be forced to cover. Note it is a business like any other. Not one iota of public service ethos to be seen, despite it's owner being the Head of State.
Oh.

Excellent. And with Iraqi drones having just made rubble of the USA's radar installations in the region, which are also Israel's early warning system for their Iron Dome, it's clear that plentiful carbon fibre marine and airborne drones will play a significant part.
WATCH The best journalism is "Looking at a thing and calling it by its name." This reporter looked at things and he has everything's name. I think this might explain why the orange one is back tracking. One sentence. The Iranians have blinded the USA in the region and Israel's Iron Dome is history.
The guy who made this video is a journalist, and because the UK government didn't like his reporting, the 'terrorism police' took him away at the airport and interrogated him for a couple of days, treating him like a terrorist, and stole all his devices.
He has never had anything to do with it BTW.
It does. So does unionism. Grow up, Alex and let's be proportionate. There are malign bampots is every social and political grouping. Think of the LibDems' history with child and other sexual abuse. No group is immune. In most cases not all members of the group are complicit or approving.
An independent Scotland would have a defence force, including a navy. Its size would be commensurate with our geography, alliances and interests. A defensive role in the N. Atlantic would be part of this. The Clyde, Orkney and Shetland could all benefit from defence spending.
I play a geography game online called Worldle. One round asks for the two most spoken languages in the country. Today it was Germany (German Turkish) and among the choices for the phrase "my name is" was Scots "Ma naem is". @billykayscot.bsky.social
I thought he would keep that dolphin smile for ever, but it seems to have turned upside down now.
All prices are based on the cost of gas. No, I'm not kidding. It is deranged or simply a mechanism to placate a dying industry. It is applied to the Highlands where very few people are on mains gas. Those who are, mostly have the gas shipped in to be used in legacy town gas systems (coal).
But you used it as a debating point. That's it you are definitely one to block.
...seats on the BIC
I increasingly expect that the ETA would not long survive Scotland joining the EU, or England electing a far right government. Ireland is quite happy, since Brexit, trading with the EU using its hugely increased sea links with Europe. The UK is not so important to them anymore and if re-united...
It has existed ever since Irish Independence. It is the main reason why Ireland didn't join Schengen. The EU didn't require that the CTA be ended when we joined or when we left. You know nothing about how you own country works. All countries and entities have the British Irish Council.
There are no UK police. Scotland has a devolved police service. Some of our laws are different because we have a different legal system. Scots Law, not the law of England and Wales.
Do you know how many rotting hulks of nuclear submarines have been moored in the Forth for years and years waiting to be dismantled? The present (unwanted by Scots) fleet is not fit for purpose. So reduced that crews are doing 200 day patrols. It was 50 days during the Cold War.
With a modern, rationally flexible, constitution, like more successful, fairer and decent NE Europe countries about the size of Scotland. The starting point being our current devolved parliament with proportional representation. UK Labour have 65% of the seats with 34% of the vote. Ludicrous.
We already has a devolved government with proportional voting - unlike Westminster. We have distinct policies. No university fees, a different school and university system, a different legal system (always have had). NHS is organised differently. Independence does not involve a standing start.
Kernow (Cornwall) too? Bus announcements in Truro are bi lingual.
