Hearings on universal school vouchers are coming up in the New Hampshire legislature. What an irresponsible thing to do in light of the giant hole we have in our education budget. Let your state rep know you are opposed. #NHPolitics

Email to a constituent: Iβve reviewed HB115, both in the context of the Stateβs constitutional obligation to provide education and in the context of the financial impact to citizens. On both faces it is a losing proposition. First, the financial consideration: Youβve certainly noticed the increase in your property tax bill over the past few years ($10,780 in 2022, $11,686 in 2023, $12,908 in 2024). A large portion of that increase is tied to the shift in allocation of state funds for education. Put another way, the State has chosen to pull money out of the public school system, forcing municipalities to make up the difference. That gets passed along to you and every other property owner as a tax hike. In my conversations with constituents over the past campaign season the cost of living was the absolute number one priority, and local taxes are driving that burden. I cannot in good conscience vote for a bill that further shifts the burden of educational funding via increased local taxes. And then thereβs the Stateβs obligation to provide education. For decades now the State government has shirked its constitutional duty. This has been decided in the courts, yet the State continues to fail. HB115 furthers this by shifting even more money away from the public education system with no plans to backfill it. I have a duty to uphold the Constitution of the State of New Hampshire, and I cannot support a bill that undermines that obligation.
I received an email asking me to support the expanded school voucher program in NH. I don't support it for a lot of reasons, and the sender is not a direct constituent. But I still chose to reply, focusing on the financial impact it has, including driving property tax hikes.

You have clearly never run into an actual troll. How that is possible I don't know but good on you. Your response is over complicated. See Rosemary Rung as a good way to convey the same information better. as to amplifying. How many reps are on BlueSky? How many likes/reposts does the OP have? STFU
The problem is that you are deliberately ignoring the point. The thing I don't know yet is why? Who is on BlueSky, or what they are doing is not in any way relevant to the point which is being made. It's poor This post by the Dem Caucus account is a bad brand representation. It's not acceptable.
A thoughtful birthday gift given to me by a thoughtful friend.
Public education funding in NH is completely inequitable due to the unequal access of funds by districts. Universal vouchers are being heard 1/16 at 1pm and is just a tax subsidy for wealthy families sending their kids to private school. https://www.gencourt.state.nh.us/house/schedule/eventDetails.β¦

GOP is the party of Young Earth Creationism
www.prri.org/spotlight/in...
The problem is Republicans have never read the bible. If they had then they would know Satan is the good guy. While Yahweh is a genocidal, slaver, who likes human sacrifice.
But we can't expect much from the party of the Counter-Enlightenment.
But sending children to Christian Indoctrination institutions on tax payer dollars is good
Also let me point out that undocumented migrants paid 70 billion in taxes and got nothing back.
I think you missed the point which was being made which lead to you make a false assumption. Please actually consider the point being made.
Why compared to other taxes are property taxes bad. Keep in mind most voters do not know the answer to this question.
Thank you for shouting out Karen. It's important to understand that raising visibility of other Dems is crucial to the process.
Part of being a brand ambassador is having visible presences.
"In this local battle reflecting a broader national culture war on public education, 92% of voters decisively stood up to say, 'I value public schools!''

Migrants commit crime at a lower rate than natural citizens and they are also a net positive when it comes to taxes. The Dishonerable Gov. Ayotte has a strained relationship with reality.
Anyone who expected the Dishonorable Ayotte to keep her word on abortion was...
The dishonorable Gov. Ayotte and her lackies have to push their Christian Nationalist agenda. Christianity is dying in New Hampshire and they can't accept that fact. Instead they have to push their Young Earth Creationist agenda.
The irresponsible cuts to state taxes are resulting in dangerously high property taxes. Why dangerous? Our NH elderly who lived the American Dream - buying a house, raising a family, working & paying their fair share - cannot afford these taxes along with drug costs, heat, FOOD! #NHPolitics
This post gets a 6 out of 10. Why is it bad that property taxes are high?
Why are regressive taxes bad and progressive taxes good?
So I am just going to say it @nhhousedems.bsky.social needs to hold a mandatory meeting on New Media messaging coordination. The fact that there posts gets so few likes is a act of negligence. I know there are more than 10 State House Reps on BlueSky.
As someone who is by no means a gun abolitionist can I just say how insane it was to hear a republican lawmaker ignore that the No. 1 cause of death in children is firearms not cars.
Glad to know that Republicans support reducing the speed limit to 35 miles an hour though. #NHPolitics
My jaw dropped when I heard that. The level of both ignorance and stupidity demonstrated in todays session is shocking.
It wasn't bad. You should clip it and put it on your YouTube channel.
The fact that Republicans were ever seen as the party of financial responsibility is
Republicans have run up the tab and they are passing the bill onto you. Read more β¬οΈ #NHPolitics

Good to see the "bad queers" getting their due. Love the quote.
#NHPolitics anyone paying attention to who is running for DNC chair? Good to see so many candidates doing interviews on Liberal New Media.
