Necromancers of the embalmer's guild, returning from a supply delivery by starlight
An Urazadi warrior and his thrall on guard duty at the Tower of the Archons - the former residence of the Demiurge's lieutenants, now home to the Urazadi contingent occupying Karazad
βEvenings on a farm near dikankaβ is an absolute banger- a witch who is fucking every dude in the village (and a demon), a sorcerer who tosses dumplings into sour cream with his mind, and so much more
a Karazadi corpse-driver, wearing the emblem of his master, overseeing some undead intra-city cargo transport
Apparently this book is now #1 in the micro-niche of βscience fiction alien contact graphic novelsβ - so βAmazon best sellerβ is now going on my business card
"Sacrifice is indeed a noble thing... so much so, in fact, that I would sacrifice all standing in my path without a moment's hesitation."
- Rodekas of Iregaze, 1552
Inside the crypt of a powerful karazadi noble. The ossuary niches here are built into a protective idol of a horned marmot, to deter the living and dead from interfering with the remains. Long bones are kept in the niche to the right, and fine bones gathered into a bronze reliquary on the left.
Dagger Dagger tee spotted in the wild
"We do things the old-fashioned way here, all digital"
Inside the public sauna, under the watchful eyes of the idol of a lesser war god, women of Karazad enjoy a steam
One of the few public temple-saunas of Karazad to survive the Domekan invasion. Built by the Demiurge to cleanse and fortify the subjects of his city, perhaps as an apology for the many troubled spirits that his ill works unleashed upon themβ¦
next time, i swear, we'll have condor-sized ravens
The Demiurge's keep - where the necromancer king and his lieutenants self-immolated, rather than face capture at the hands of the Domekans
This is the best and one of the most fashionable travel options, folks. Take note!
A merchantβs cart, with Domekan guards, on the road to Turedar...
This month, on the patreon, Iβve posted the first section of the illustrated prose work that these illustrations are for: A little story called βThe Necromancerβs Daughterβ.

Yeeeessss! It would fit right in damn well
That it does. It was loosely based on this mace head find from Western Estonia from roughly the 12th or 13th century (later than Iron Age, but the setting itself is strongly inspired by the region)
Ringing in the new year by showing off this sinister Iron Age fantasy commission for @lokamayadon.bsky.social
Two soldiers from the Domekan garrison take it upon themselves to harass a local talisman peddler on the streets of Karazad. But more caution is in order- one who walks these haunted streets bare-faced may hold powerful magics of their ownβ¦
Oh Iβm a huge huge huuuge fan!
Durance, the icon!!
Man, I would've never expected you to be a Pillars of Eternity aficionado (relatively "obscure" as the games are apart from the CRPG scene) - hats off!
The rarest of homunculi found in Karazad: the necromancerβs familiar. Man-flesh and raven feather drawn over a wooden keel, a golden arrowhead to see through, and grasping fingers with which to carry messages, pilfer, and perch. Only constructed by the most skilled of the regionβs miracle workersβ¦
Something magical is coming, at the end of the week (link in bio)
The realm of the Great Transformer- the Great Bog. Donβt stray from the trackway, and risk getting lost in the mist, for before long youβll be resting in the still black waters, or pulled under the peatβ¦
The frontier village of Ovanad. Seat of kings in ancient times, its tower-fortress was a necromancer stronghold until it was destroyed by the Domekans, early in their campaign.
Two Zaticar mercenaries and their pack-kapro, on their way to Karazad. After their own city-state, Zatico, fell to a Domekan seige, most of the cityβs surviving defenders turned to sellswordery
Having had a couple of flippant retweets break containment and go viral on twitter recently, I can say with confidence that said virality does bupkiss for actually growing your following⦠instead just inviting thousands of strangers to make their own flippant replies and retweets.
While I've never had a viral one myself, it always seems to be thus based on what I have seen. Mostly weird (unintelligent?) opinions, irrelevant comments, overanalyzing a throwaway line/thought... "this ain't it, chief", and probably never will.
