Losing this game isn’t the end of the world. We can get rest before the tournament. However, the way we played was unacceptable for this late in the year. They say defense travels and our defense was terrible. Anytime we hit 11 3’s we should win. The team was outcoached in this game. Disappointing.
Ward not being able to do anything but rebound and dunk has been hurting this team the last couple of games. Lost on defense and almost a non factor on offense. His ceiling is high but not sure he deserves all of these minutes right now. #GoGreen
I don’t care much about this tournament, however the way we are playing is concerning. I think ucla has momentum after playing yesterday, but it really feels like we are being outcoached on both ends. It’s obvious UCLa is clogging the paint and they are getting penetration and kick outs. #GoGreen
Huge win just now for Michigan State on the road at Purdue. Hadn't done it in 12 years. Purdue probably can't get to the 1-line unless it literally runs the table and gets help. Michigan State's chances to be a 3 or better just jumped nearly as high as Coen Carr.

Jeremy Fears Jr.'s numbers tonight: 26 points (7-for-19 FG/12-for-13 FTs), 15 assists, 2 turnovers in a career-high 42:30 of court time. The Joliet, Illinois native sat for only 2:30 in MSU's OT win over his home state Illini.
What a game. Fears is carrying this team but what a game from the freshman. Scott played unbelievable defense. I don’t really trust any of the offense, but I’m hoping some guys continue to develop. Needed this after the last 3 games that were hell. #GoGreen

Michigan State actually showed a lot of fight in this game. Going to Nebraska is a hornets nest, especially with this being their Super Bowl. Not having Divine hurt us with some lineups. Can’t beat anyone turning the ball over 19 times. Jax was incredible. This one just annoys me bc it was winnable.

That was one of my favorite basketball games (regular season) of all time. An absolute clinic in so many ways and shots finally fell. I feel good for Izzo, the young guys and the guys who decided to stay with the program. A true team win and an ass kicking! #GoGreen
