Once again Forbes is showing how out of touch it is. Regular air travel is becoming out of reach for most Americans, much less premium. If you saw one of my earlier posts, you saw how I mentioned that Southwest is charging over $400 just to go between SNA and SMF.

I got gas earlier…$5.75 a gallon…this is absolutely criminal. When the oil companies jacked up prices in 2022 for a prolonged period of time it was a significant financial hit for me, and I’m sure for millions of others. I dread what’s going to happen if they stay high again.

Would you believe that a simple flight from SNA to SMF, which is only about an hour long give or take a few minutes, was over $400? On Southwest, over $400 for a short flight. That is insane. Travel is getting more and more out of reach. 2/2

Here’s a sign that inflation is through the roof, despite what Trump says. Last night I was looking at flights for a possible trip to northern Nevada in early May. As Southwest doesn’t fly directly to Reno from SNA, I was looking at flights to Sacramento. 1/2
