Vaccinating babies against hepatitis B is a simple recommendation that saves lives—one based on solid science, & that has led to a dramatic drop in preventable infections and deaths.
Ending this recommendation will cost lives. RFK Jr. must answer to Congress.

98% of NIH grants that should have gone out this month, didn't. Despite court orders 'unfreezing' the funds, they are frozen. Biomedical research will grind to a halt. Clinical trials will end. All for no reason: the total impact on the US budget is miniscule

Fascinating GI grand rounds at Columbia on GLP1s. My take away - growing evidence of benefits in multiple areas, scarce significant side effects mostly GI, data on endoscopy/gastric emptying is limited, and no data yet accounts for rise in use via compound pharmacies. #GIsky #liversky
